Issue management - the easy way - with SuiteSupport
Better management of all your test cycles:
- With Issue Manager you can assign bugs to specific versions of
your Product
- Assign a support person to the Issue
- Using the Master Code customization capabilities, assign status
codes that match your methodology and track the bugs as they go
through the cycle. As an example, you can add the following codes
to the Issue Manager Status field: New, Assigned, In Progress, Ready for Test,
Closed. Then use these codes to track bugs as they are found and
completed
- Automatically notify the people that need to know when something changes for the Issue
- Track the bugs using Issue Manager's search engine with its
full Boolean search capabilities
More robust Production support:
- Using a single database for testing and for Production bug
reporting/resolution, you can search if any pre-Production
bugs found their way back into the code when a Customer calls in
with a problem
- Quickly find if the current Issue is one that is already known, and what the status is
- Track and report the problems for a given Contact
Get more out of tracking bugs than just tracking them:
- Assign Problem and Resolution categories (that you create!) to
a problem. Use this information to improve the areas that are
causing the most problems. For example, adding Resolution codes of
Code fix, Documentation, User Error, ..., you can identify the
reasons for the bugs and take appropriate action. This is a real
aid for Lessons Learned, as well.
